Meet the Team : Eanna Flanagan

Meet Eanna, who has over five years experience in Financial Services technology recruitment. Read on to find out more about him and his life at Referment!

What does a typical day look like for you? 

I cycle in from North London (depending on the weather!) and grab a coffee first thing when I arrive at work. I then spend the first part of the morning catching up on emails and reviewing the candidates that have applied or been referred to the roles I'm working on.

I'll then spend time speaking to these candidates, and any others I have to speak to, about the opportunities before organising next steps with our clients. The afternoon is usually full of preparing candidates for upcoming interviews and speaking to hiring managers about their hiring needs. At the end of the day I will plan what I am going to do the following day and then head home!

What does your role involve? 

Managing existing clients and candidates, looking for new business opportunities and clients, speaking to new candidates about roles, helping them through the interview process, closing the deals.

What is your favourite thing about working for Referment? 

I like the culture and the fact that the business is trying to achieve success in a unique way through making things quicker and easier for the sales people. I think it's a positive office environment and the people are great.

What’s been your biggest achievement to date? 

I've made my biggest ever placement here at Referment, helping a candidate secure a 25% base salary rise along with a bonus package worth up to 150%!
