You've been scrolling through the Referment platform and seen roles that are perfect for people you know and then you see one that peaks your own interest. So can you apply to roles yourself and if so, what info do you need to include?
Applying vs referring.
You can apply to roles yourself on Referment by clicking Apply on any of the roles that you'd be interested in being put forward for. Something to note is that you can't earn any referral rewards for referring yourself to a role so be sure to click Apply and not Refer.
The application process.
We've designed the application process to take as much time as the referral process so rest assured, there aren't pages and pages of information to fill out. You'll first see the Why are you awesome? page, which provides you with a space to explain why you'd be great for the role. Think of this as a mini version of a cover letter, your elevator pitch so to speak.
After that, you'll reach the contact page where you can give us options for contacting you to discuss the role in more detail!
The most important thing to include in your application is your CV, however we'll send a follow-up email with details about how to upload it separately if you haven't got your CV to hand when applying. It also helps us when you include a link to your LinkedIn profile too, so be sure to copy that URL in as well, if possible.
Once you've completed your application process you'll receive a confirmation email and one of our relationship managers will get in touch to discuss the role should your profile match the requirements from the hiring manager.
